New Christmas Movies to Watch
This Christmas movie line-up will have you stuck to your couch and gushing with holiday cheer while eating homemade sugar cookies and assorted popcorn!
1. The Christmas Lottery
This movie is about a man who wins the lottery, tries to bring his estranged daughters together for Christmas. I did get a laugh out of this film and was taken back to my childhood with star Reginald VelJohnson, who played Carl Winslow on the hit TV series, Family Matters. You can also expect Candiace Dillard, from the Housewives of Potomac. Asia’h Epperson from the seventh season of American Idol, Brave Williams, Terayle Hill, and Traci Braxton from Braxton Family Values as a guest star.
2. Holiday Heartbreak
This comedy film is about karma hitting hard at Christmas when a loving father discovers that his womanizing’s past is coming back to haunt his daughter after a curse destroys her love life. I laughed during this whole movie with legendary comedian, Michael Colyar, legendary actress, Adrienne-Joi Johnson from the hit movie series, House Party. Longtime actress from the hit movie, The Player’s Club, LisaRaye McCoy; Kountry Wayne, an upcoming comedian from YouTube, Tiffany Black from the new hit series, P-Valley, Chantal Maurice also from the new hit series, P-Valley, Teenage Bounty Hunters, and Queen Sugar. Maryam Basir from the hit TV series, The Chi and Chicago P.D. Guest star upcoming actress, B. Simone.
3. Merry Liddle Christmas
A successful entrepreneur’s messy family descends on her new dream wedding for the holidays. This funny film kept me giggling the entire time and it is definitely kid-friendly. It stars Kelly Rowland from the world’s best-selling girl groups of all time, Destiny’s Child. Thomas Cadrot from Star Trek Beyond, legendary actress from the ABC soap opera All My Children, Debbi Ann Morgan. Bresha Webb from TV One comedy series, Love That Girl. Jaime Callica, Latonya Williams, and Chris Shields.
4. A Christmas Surprise
A woman gets a Christmas surprise when her daughter announces her engagement. With legendary actress, Terri Vaughn from the hit TV sitcom, The Steve Harvey Show, as the director. Legendary actress, Keesha Sharp, from the hit comedy series, Girlfriends. Legendary actress, Wendy Raquel Robinson, from the hit TV series, The Steve Harvey Show and The Game. Will Blagrove, Katelynn Bennett, Bruce Davis, and Mustapha Slack. I definitely recommend this comedy film if you are looking for a great laugh.
5. Kiss me for Christmas
A BET plus movie about an assistant who kisses her bosses boyfriend unknowingly and falls in love with him from a kiss. Starring Laila Odom, actress and producer. Legendary actress, Golden Brooks from the hit tv comedy series, Girlfriends. Legendary actress, Jennifer Freeman from the hit TV sitcom, My Wife and Kids. Taja V. Simpson from BET soap opera, The Oval. Actor Terrell Carter from the popular hit Fox drama series, Empire. Guest star Legendary actor, Obba Babatunde from the hit daytime soap opera, The Bold and The Beautiful.
