Procter & Gamble Co. is recalling some of its Old Spice and Secret aerosol antiperspirant sprays after benzene, a cancer-causing chemical, was found in some products. 1 The Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) says benzene can be cancer causing in humans. Specifically, long-term exposure to high levels of benzene can cause leukemia. 1
This is terrible because you think about all of the people in the world, especially the young adults using these products. I have known a long time how harmful the products are from these major corporations’, but I only transitioned two years ago to natural deodorant. Natural as in it only being made with natural and organic ingredients. Here’s the link. I love how natural the products are without having to worry about harmful chemicals. I use everything on this website, from mouthwash to feminine products. Your health is your wealth! If you haven’t changed yet, then what are you waiting for. We have been so conditioned and groomed into using bad products without our parents ever asking questions or researching. It’s time to stand up for your body and take control of your health.
